In 1999 Wieland Metals began with the production of copper tubing with an outside and inside enhanced surface. This type of tube is used in water chillers for industrial applications and large air-conditioning units.
The enhanced surface increases the heat transfer between water and refrigerant in the evaporator and condenser.
